10 People Charged a Collective £4,087 for Unlawful Use of Disabled Badges
BBFI Work with Councils to Help Bring Prosecutions to Court
18th June 2021 marked a huge day of court cases in the fight against blue badge misuse in Cardiff.
A total of 10 successful prosecutions were made at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court for Blue Badge misuse in South Wales.
BBFI investigators were key in providing training and support to council officers in order to tackle blue badge fraud on Cardiff’s streets.
10 fines of between £174 and £544 were ordered for unlawfully using a disabled person’s badge.
